This poem God put on my heart to write. I pray it helps anyone who knows someone or someone struggling \ struggled in the past with an addiction or sin that even though they know its wrong they just keep repeating I pray for anyone who has sin that has a strong hold in their life. We have all been there. We all struggle with sin. Just remember there is always hope in Jesus. He is healer of all healers nothing is impossible or too great for him.His gift of life is free to all who will receive it. Have a blessed day. #Histrueloveministries #JesusPaidItAll
The warning label says Do Not Touch.
The temptation is there, one try and it’s too much.
You’re hooked and you keep giving in.
No matter how hard you try, you keep repeating this sin.
Like a leech it sucks you dry.
You tell yourself it’s not that bad, but deep down you know you’re living a big fat lie.
Shame, guilt, regret, and conviction all submurge you
The battle with pain comes too.
Fighting to resist the poison in order submit to God’s will
Trusting in Him, the one who has paid the bill.
Healing comes by the touch of his amazing power and love.
Everything is released in the sky like a dove.
All your sins and the poison left on the cross.
Chains are broken as the poison and the devil are no longer your boss.
Free in Him at last.
You walk away with pride awoken and brand new leaving the poison behind in the past!
When looking at your everyday walk how would you evaluate your relationship with Jesus? Are you someone who lives for him everyday? or are you someone who just lives for him once a week only when it is either convenient or expected from you? Do you truly live for him? Are you just going through the motions trying to make yourself viewed as an example of a perfect flawlessly devoted christain? In the next post we will look at what a true christain should look like. We will discuss how and when we are to worship God. We will examine our faith to see if we are walking as closely to God as we and others perceive us to be. What do you think a true christain looks like? How do u know? How is your walk with Christ? Let me know what you think in the comment section. Until next time God bless.
We touched a little bit in part 1 on how the world views love, but what does God say about love? The bible says in 1 corinthains 13:4- 8
4 Loveis patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things endures all things.
8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away(biblegateway.com)
God says love is how you behave and treat others. Love is not a feeling or an emotion. It is not sex or liking someone. Love id moral character. It is jesus.(letspleasegod.com)
Jesus is the greatest example of love. John 3:16 tells us all about it. For God love the world so much he sent his only son jesus to die on a cross in our place so that we could be forgiven of our sin and have everlasting life. Without God there is no love. We love because he first loved us! LOVE IS THE GREATEST GIFT WE CAN EVER RECIEVE
